The proposed project consists of the following improvements to the intersections of SC 7 (Sam Rittenburg Boulevard) at SC 171 (Old Towne Road) and SC 7 (Sam Rittenburg Boulevard) at Orange Grove Road: 

• Realignment of SC 7 (Sam Rittenburg Boulevard) at SC 171 (Old Towne Road) to create a “T” intersection.
• Widening of SC 171 (Old Towne Road) from Sumar Street through Orange Grove Road.
• Construction of auxiliary turn lanes at the intersection of SC 7 (Sam Rittenburg Boulevard), SC 171 (Old Towne Road) and Orange Grove Road.
• Construction of bicycle and pedestrian paths.
