Future Drive Loop to Ladson Road
The Future Drive Loop to Ladson Road project would compliment the Palmetto Commerce Parkway project. Future Drive would provide a connection between the Parkway and Highway 78 near I-26. Also, under this project, the existing Northside Drive would be extended towards Ladson Road to an intersection with Future Drive. The network of these facilities would assist in relieving congestion on Ladson Road, Dorchester Road and Ashley Phosphate Road. Future Drive and the extension of Northside Drive would also provide access for future commercial and residential development. A series of public meetings will be conducted to solicit citizen's opinions and considerations prior to developing any improvement alternatives.
