Intersection Improvement Projects
Charleston County Council approved allocating up to $2 million in Transportation "Half-Cent" Sales Tax funding for intersection improvements for fiscal year. Engineering design, traffic studies, and a public involvement process to gather input from residents on proposed improvements will all be the first steps. Some of these projects may be funded for multiple years to provide for engineering design, right-of-way acquisition (if necessary), and construction.
