McClellanville Streetscape Project A public meeting for the McClellanville Streetscape Project was held on Feb. 12, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the McClellanville Town Hall. As the beginning phase of the planning process, the purpose of the public meeting was to get the thoughts and opinions of the business owners and residents to assist in developing the Town of McClellanville Streetscape Plan. The streetscape project will include improvements along Pinckney Street, from Society Road to Mercantile Road. This area is known as the Village Commercial District, and comprises local businesses such as restaurants and art shops, as well as nearby residences. Comments for this project were accepted through February 26, 2009. A Public Comment Summary Report is currently being developed. It will be posted when it becomes available. Questions and comments are always accepted for this project and any other project being funded by the transportation sales tax. Click here if you would like to submit a question or comment.
