Various Small Sidewalk Projects in Mt. Pleasant
6th Avenue and 6th Street Sidewalks
6th Avenue and 6th Street are existing paved roads, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. This project will improve 6th Avenue and 6th Street by providing sidewalk along a portion of the east side of 6th Street and along a portion of the south side of 6th Avenue. This block of 6th Avenue is located between 6th Street and Mathis Ferry Road. This block of 6th Street is located between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue. The project will require an encroachment permit from SCDOT. The total length of 6th Avenue sidewalk expected to be provided is approximately 660 feet. The total length of 6th Street sidewalk expected to be provided is approximately 420 feet. This project is currently only funded for design.
Ben Sawyer Boulevard Sidewalk
Ben Sawyer Blvd. is an existing paved road, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. This project will improve Ben Sawyer Blvd. by providing sidewalk along a portion of the roadway. This portion of roadway runs northwest to southeast between N. Point Lane and Center Street Ext. The project will require an encroachment permit from SCDOT. The total length of Ben Sawyer Blvd. sidewalk expected to be provided is approximately 590 feet. Construction is complete.

Rifle Range Road Sidewalk
Rifle Range Road is an existing paved road, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. This project will improve Rifle Range Road by providing sidewalk along a portion of the roadway. This portion runs south to north towards Harborgate Boulevard. The project will require an encroachment permit from SCDOT. The total length of Rifle Range Road sidewalk expected to be provided is approximately 1,060 feet. Construction complete.
