Alternative A – 15-foot wide two-way left turn lane (center turn lane) with 12-foot travel lanes from North Shore Drive to Mikell Drive. Traffic signals are proposed at the intersections of Harbor View Road at Fort Sumter Drive and Harbor View Road at Mikell Drive when warranted by traffic volumes. Curb and gutter with a 10-foot wide shared-use path on the north side and a 5-foot wide sidewalk on the south side of Harbor View Road between North Shore Drive and Fort Johnson Road, separated from the curb by a 4-foot wide grass buffer.

Alternative B - 13-foot wide two-way left turn lane (center turn lane) with 12-foot travel lanes from North Shore Drive to Affirmation Boulevard. Traffic signals are proposed at the intersections of Harbor View Road at Fort Sumter Drive and Harbor View Road at Mikell Drive when warranted by traffic volumes. Curb and gutter with a 5-foot wide sidewalk directly abutting the curb on the south side of Harbor View Road between North Shore Drive and Fort Johnson Road and 4-foot wide one-way bicycle lanes adjacent to the lanes of traffic in each direction on Harbor View Road between North Shore Drive and Fort Johnson Road.
